10 Jul Cork Week – Update day 3

Just over the halfway stage of Cork Week and with 2 days to go Illes Pitiuses continues to dominate class 5 winning the fourth race by 5 minutes over the water and 3 mins on adjusted time from Bandit who finished 2nd and moves clear in to 2nd place overall. That’s the fourth straight bullet for the Cobh boys and not surprisingly they are the only boat in the entire Cork Week fleet with straight wins in all their races.

Fergus on his new J80 “Jedi” is currently in 10th place in class 4. Upstart is lying 2nd just behind Minx in whitesail division 2 and that promises to go to the wire with only seconds between them in most races so far. Elsewhere Ewan O’Keefe is on Crazy Horse and they are in 6th place in class 2.
