13 Mar 2011 Kinsale/Aberystwyth “Rib Run” in aid of the RNLI

On May 5th up to 50 crew and 15 Ribs (Rigid Inflatable Boats) will attempt to cross from Kinsale to Aberystwyth in a sponsored endurance passage of 400nm to raise funds for the Royal National lifeboat Institution’s, “Train one, Save many” campaign. Over the last 7 years the Rib Run has raised over €260,000 for the Lifeboats and the South

Coast trawler Tragedy appeal.
