16 Aug Blackrock Race 2016

The 2016 Blackrock Race will take place on Saturday 3rd September with FG at 1400hrs.

Again the race is sponsored by Union Chandlery and the Port of Cork.

Rehydration and the prizegiving will be with the help of all at The Sextant and competitors can avail of free overnight bethage at the Cork City Marina compliments of the Port of Cork.

There will be racing in Classes 1,2 and 3, Whitesail and after the success last year a Standard Sail Fleet.

Over the next few days an online entry form will be available and this must be filled in by any boats wishing to take part before the deadline in order for that boat to get a result on the day.

Last year was a fantastic day out with a huge fleet racing from Cobh to Blackrock Castle.

Looking forward to seeing lots of old faces on the water on the day.
