With great sadness, we were informed of the passing of club member Liam Allister. Liam was a very active sailor and, along with his crewmates on Bombora, sailed each year with great enthusiasm and friendly banter, always building up to the great pilgrimage to West Cork each August.
We want to extend our sincere sympathies to his son Will, daughter Ciara, brothers, sisters, parents-in-law Billy & Sheila, brothers-in-law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and crewmates.

Reposing at Cahill’s Funeral Home Newtown Rd. Cobh P25Y383 on Friday, April 8th from 5 pm with rosary at 7. 30pm. Reception into St. Colman’s Cathedral on Saturday, April 9th at 1.30 pm for 2 pm Requiem Mass followed by burial in Old Church Cemetery.
We are really looking forward to catching up and reconnecting with everyone very soon. It is our intention to hold an informal online junior meeting on Thursday the 18th February @ 19:30 details will be published on our website and will be emailed to you as well.
