20 Jun Illes Pitiuses in Round the Island Race this weekend

Illes Pitiuses (Cove S.C.)

Jason and Dominic Losty will be competing on their quarter tonner “Illes Pitiuses” this weekend in the Annual Round the Island Race in Cowes.There are 1580 boats expected to take part this year and about 15,000 sailors in what must be one of the largest racing fleets anywhere in the world.

They are entered in the IRC Division 3C and there is a GPS tracking facility on the race website (click link) as well as loads of other information about the boats, course and general sailing info.

This is a bit of a warm up before they compete in this years Quarter Ton Cup hosted by that other RCYC also in Cowes.
