23 Sep “Irene” joins Cove Sailing Club fleet

Cove Sailing Club has acquired the Romany 23 “Irene” (pictured above) for use as a committee boat and/or support boat. Some work will be needed over the winter to bring her back to her best, ready for the 2012 season and if you would like to get involved please contact Derry Allister. She is currently out of the water at Whitepoint and we are hoping to launch her on Saturday morning for her first task supporting the Ballinacurra Cup.

Also on Saturday Cove Sailing Club will be hosting an open day at the dinghy park from 11AM onwards and all members, family and friends are welcome to come down. Weather permitting there will be some fun activities out on the water with a barbecue and refreshments available at the dinghy park during the afternoon. ALL WELCOME.
