Due to a clash in the calendars it was decided to postpone our own Cove@Home for the dinghys yesterday and bring all our boats to Monkstown for the afternoon.

Cove@Home for the dinghys will run next Saturday with FG at 1400hrs.

8 boats made their way to Monkstown for a fantastic afternoons sailing. The fleets included Oppies,National 18s and mixed dinghys with a steady westerly breeze it made for an eventful afternoons sailing.

Well done to Khadil and Mark in the Topaz for coming second in class two in a fleet of over 20 boats.Hats off lads!!!!

A big thank you to the Commodore of Monkstown Bay Sailing Club and all the crew ashore who made sure everyone got fed before the journey home. You made ys feel very welcome. And thanks to the Race Officers and Safety Boat Crews who keep the whole fleet on their toes and safe.

Well done to all concerned.

And thanks to our own instructors who worked late to get everyone home!!!
