The club is very keen to promote further learning and certification of its members in the use of power boats.
We are very lucky to have a power boating training centre on our doorstep and would encourage all members to consider partaking in a power boating course National Powerboat Certificate.
The National Powerboat Course is a comprehensive course for beginners and improvers leading to national and international certification. By the end of this two-day course, the successful participant will be capable of helming without supervision in good conditions and familiar waters. Both of the Introduction to Powerboating and the National Powerboat Course are usually taken together as a two-day course.
